We work with seasoned professionals with 10+ years of experience, who are contemplating a career change and not sure how to go about it. Some will have recently made the career change but finding it challenging to navigate the new context.
As a former corporate senior manager and executive, with over two decades of experience working in some of South Africa’s blue chip and JSE-listed companies (in Telecommunications, FMCG, Consulting, Health Care and Financial Services), I’ve walked the path of career evolution, transitioning through multiple roles, levels, and industries. And even moving across new geographical areas (often with no support structure).
I have also worked with many accomplished professionals transition to positions, professions and industries without fully grasping the complexities attached to this — only to encounter unexpected hurdles in professional visibility, influence, and impact.
